My top 10 places to visit or experience, in & around Maleny.

(1)Mary Cairncross Park -Great walks through ancient subtropical Rainforests, great coffee shop & good picnic area on site. look out for the pademelons which if your lucky you may be able to see in the forest. There are also great views of the Glasshouse Mountains, opposite the Park. Wheelchair friendly.

(2)Blackall Range Tourist Drive -Experience the beautiful views across the Hinterland.

(3)Kondalilla Falls-Not for the faint hearted, not wheelchair friendly, great workout for the fittest.

(4)Mapleton Falls- The best views are a short distance from the car park (has wheelchair access)

(5)Booloumba Creek- Is a great place to explore. You will need a 4×4, due to the terrain. When you get to the car park, there is a good walk through the forest. Then you will come to the most amazing waterfalls which have been formed through the vast rock face.Just beautiful.

(6)Howells Knob-Not the best name to give this place but worth a visit. Has 360 views, there is an under covered area with a table & bench. Can drive to the top. No walking involved.

(7)Maleny Town- Not the prettiest of Towns but what it lacks in looks it makes up with unique shops, friendly people. Great selection of coffee shops. Organic shops & the lovely relaxed feel the place has.

(8)Montville- Very pretty high street with beautiful gardens, through the Town. Lots of different shops to explore, quite hilly though.Great coffee shops & Restaurants around.

(9)Eumundi Markets- Open Wednesday & Saturday, a must place to go for local arts & crafts, clothes, Jewellery & yummy food. Lovely place to walk around. Approx 55 minute drive away  from us, through beautiful countryside. Best to get there early though as they close around 12pm.

(10)Australia Zoo- Really good day out & only 25 min drive away.
