Beware of paralysis ticks. This morning I had to rush my dog to the vets, as he was struggling to breath & his legs were wobbly. Lucky the vet acted quickly & got his treatment underway.
Throughout the day we phoned the vets, who assured us that he was stable for now, but he would have to be monitored for 24 hours.
We’re always vigilant with our dogs, checking them of a night time for ticks. They stay in of a night & we give them Advantix every two weeks.
Please check your dogs, just because you may use tick treatment, your dog can still be affected by ticks.
